The fortress
of Kiafa is situated on the hill`s top in the center of the
image. The sign on the right side announces the "Stairs
of Tsavellena", which is the old connecting path between
the fortresses of Suli and the flatlands. The women of Suli
brought in dangerous night marches supply. One of them was Tsavellena,
who is still present in folk songs. |
